Recorded in Seattle with co-producer Eric Smith. Several songs (“Indiana Late July” and “A Given Time”) were written in my birth state of Indiana during a two-year stay there from 1988-90. “William Bond” is a setting of a poem by William Blake. A number of the songs (“Wondrous Things,” “Good Friday,” “Home,” “Feed Us with Light,”) reflect my long struggle to fashion a meaningful theology from my Christian upbringing, a struggle which I have (mostly) put to rest in favor of wisdom further to the East.
