about

This album was produced by dear friend, Carolyn “Puddy” Rogers, now sadly deceased. The songs were recorded in a variety of settings, some live (NW Folk Festival, HUB Ballroom at the University of Washington), some in studio with band mates from the Old River Band, others in living rooms. Special thanks to Jeff Powel for his beautiful guitar work during the HUB Ballroom concert. “Sometimes Your Love” was written by my brother Tom. “Chappy” was written in the late 70’s for a musician who lived next door in Seattle’s Central District. The album reflects songs written during a time when I moved back and forth between living in Seattle and Marysville west of the Cascades and in my home country in the Okanogan valley and highlands on the east side.
